TL;DR - I've made an update that makes it a little better.
There's not a lot I can do since the script uses Pushshift to get the archived comments and it depends on their archive getting updated. The bigger Reddit gets, the longer it takes for comments to show up there. Sometimes it can take over 24 hours and by that time the comment is probably already edited so it won't help.
I did however just notice that using the author to look up the comments seems to actually find most of them for some reason even when the normal way can't, so I've added that to the script.
I can't make it perfect since it depends on Pushshift's archive, but I have been able to make it much better.
I'm doing the best I can. Hopefully you will be seeing "not found" less often with the latest update (3.6.0).
